Ambulance
The Township of East Zorra-Tavistock is serviced by the Oxford County Board of Health for ambulance services. The Mission of the Public Health Department (Oxford County Board of Health) is to strive for optimal health for the citizens of Oxford County by promoting and facilitating healthy
behaviours in a healthy environment. We are committed to excellence in service delivery, education and research and to a collaborative partnership with the community.
The Mandatory Health Programs and Services Guidelines, December 1997 obtain
legal authority under the terms of the Health Protection and Promotion Act,
1990. The Minister of Health is authorized to develop and publish these
guidelines. The program standards are set out for fundamental public health
programs and services targeted at prevention of disease, health promotion and
protection.
